C5Net Subscriber Help Page

Please "bookmark" and refer to this page for future reference, especially if this is the first time you have subscribed to an electronic mailing list. If you ever need to leave the list, you will find the necessary instructions below. You should also save the "welcome messages" from the C5Net and C5 Registry Director, Dan Adovasio.

To send a message to all the people currently subscribed to the list, just send mail to
C5NET@LISTSRV.VETTELIST.COM
(hint: Paste this address in your address book and label it "C5Net").

This is called "sending mail to the list", because you send mail to a single address and LISTSERV makes copies for all the people who have subscribed. This address is also called the "list address". You must never try to send any command to that address, as it would be distributed to all the C5 Registry members who have subscribed and the function would not be completed.

PLEASE READ The C5Net List Rules
Please Read: Using TOPICS and Mail

But remember that information has a way of getting disseminated, we cannot control the subscribers who violate the trust by forwarding or copying posted messages. As with all privacy issues relating to the C5Net -This is a matter of conscience and trust.
