| Chevrolet may be building a $200,000 - $300,000 Super
Corvette which will be a street version of their C5-R
Race Car. In order to qualify for Le Mans in the year 2000 and race the C5-R, they will need to produce 50 of these cars and sell them to
the public. This car is currently being
developed by their race team Pratt & Miller.
These are just preliminary designs but the car had to approved by the Le Mans officials
before production could even begin.
We would look for the Super Corvette to be
available for purchase sometime early in the year 2000. Since only 50 will be made, this high horsepower Super Corvette will be sure to become the "apple" of every collector's
eye! 
We sincerely hope that Chevy does do Le Mans and builds
this super car! But just as important, the people that purchase these cars will drive them
instead of hide them!
