Welcome to the Race Rock Cafe

October 27, 2000 Dinner at the Race Rock Cafe!

The second C5 Registry dinner is held at the Race Rock Cafe in downtown Las Vegas. The Race Rock is quite a place. All the members were totally impressed with the displays inside. Almost like a racing museum. The vehicles inside were intact. Except for fluids and a battery, they looked as though you could drive many of them on the track.

An all Corvette, all C5 Registry Car show was held in front of the museum.. A steady stream of Las Vegas residents and tourists alike came by to view the C5's.

C5's in Front of Race Rock.. The two large wheels are the outside wheels and tires of the Bigfoot Below.

How could you resist purchasing a "Vette Net".

This is not Jake Drennon drinking a beer.. It's someone in a Jake mask..
It is Halloween and remember
Jakes previous magazine impersonation !

Members admire the impressive racing vehicle display. There's more on the first floor.

This is Bigfoot.. In the cafe.

Members line up for the Prime Rib Dinner.

Sandee and Steve appear to be having a good time, as did the rest of the Registry Members

Doug Rippie (Left) and Scotty B. White (Right) along with the NayKid team discuss the Race Rock Cafe. Doug was indeed impressed!
The C5 Registry auctioned off three racing banners, signed by all the top level Corvette people and the C5-R drivers, raising $1200 for the National Corvette Museum.

The Happy bid winners display the Banners.
