C5 Registry Members await the drawing to see which 50 cars will be allowed to drive the Pace Lap for the American Le Mans at Las Vegas.

October 29, 2000 RACE DAY

The Las Vegas Speedway would only allow 50 Registry members to drive their C5's on the pace lap. A drawing was held the once at the track, the 50 winners line up for the lap.

The line begins to form up.	While all this was going on, the Private racers were running. Team NayKid comes on strong after leaving the track and requiring a pit stop to clear grass from the radiator.
Bill Cooper is really coming on strong toward the end of the race. Bill got a podium finish with third place in the race.	These are the entry's for Team NayKids pumpkin carving contest.
They are all great.. Team NayKid will issue a press release on the winner.	It was a cold day at the Track and the food served up by Team NayKid, Fikse Wheels and Les Stanford Chevrolet was indeed welcome. The C5 Registry says, "THANK YOU"!
The members are leaving the C5 Registry's hospitality tent and it's shelter form the cold wind to watch the race.	We just had to take a group photo before the race begins..
