And to a CORVETTE enthusiast, what defines Chevrolet more that "America's Sports Car" CORVETTE.

Left: The Signature CORVETTE was not driven along the Torch Route. To protect the signatures, this special CORVETTE was transported in this vehicle.

 

 

 

Covered with signatures from every stop along it's
65 day journey.. This Special CORVETTE is finally in Salt Lake City, Utah . Here Pictured at Larry H. Miller Chevrolet. I had to smile as families came in to pose by this special CORVETTE for photographs.. This car is SPECIAL!
Reading the signatures on this CORVETTE and surrounded with the sprit of the games, I did "feel the fire within".. Most of the signatures I didn't know,  a lot of them I did, but I could certainly understand the messages. Things like "Carry the Sprit", "Fly With Freedom", and "God Bless America".

It was said during the opening ceremonies...

"An idea this pure, and this bright, survives the darkest of nights".

This CORVETTE and the signatures covering the hood, roof, sides and tail certainly convey that thought.

America needed this... I needed this...
